What Rent to Own Actually Means
Rent to own lets you install a brand-new Panasonic unit today and pay for it monthly. After the final payment the unit is entirely yours — no balloon payment, nothing to hand back.
It is different from straight rental. With a rental you never own the unit. With rent to own, every monthly payment goes towards ownership.

When Rent to Own Beats Buying Outright
Rent to own makes the most sense in three situations.
Cash flow matters more than total cost. You may well be able to pay RM2,090 at once but would rather keep that money for something else. RM99 a month is far easier for a household budget to absorb.
You need several units at once. Fitting out three rooms means RM5,000-plus up front. Rent to own turns that into roughly RM300 a month.
You are a landlord. The monthly cost sits neatly against rental income, and the tenant gets a new unit under warranty.
Requirements and Application Process
